(An-Naba') 78 : 29
وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ كِتَابًا
And We have been recording everything in a Book.
The Book mentioned in this verse is the Book of Deeds fastened around everyone’s neck, as told in verses 17: 13-14. See explanation 23: 62-63; 36: 12; and 58: 6.
